For Teachers and Healers

Host Your Retreat at WhiteLight

WhiteLight is opening its doors to sincere teachers, healers, therapists, artists, facilitators, and retreat leaders who wish to hold meaningful work in a quiet Himalayan setting. We invite collaboration with people whose work is rooted in healing, awareness, creativity, embodiment, silence, and inner transformation. This is an invitation to join hands. To bring your students, your practice, your presence, and your work into a space that has been slowly built over many years for silence, healing, reflection, and conscious living.

A Space Held for Inner Work

WhiteLight is not a hotel, a commercial resort, or a busy event venue. It is a small, nature-immersed retreat space on a 27-acre farm near Solan, Himachal Pradesh, surrounded by trees, forest, mud-built structures, open skies, walking paths, and silence. The space has been created slowly, with care, by Varun and Christina. It is best suited for teachers and healers who do not need noise, luxury, or spectacle to hold their work. It is for those who understand that sometimes the deepest healing happens when the environment itself becomes part of the teaching. The mountain air. The mud walls. The forest. The shared meals. The silence between sessions. The walk back to one’s room. The space to do nothing. At WhiteLight, the land supports the work.

Who We Are Inviting

We welcome teachers, facilitators, and healers working in areas such as: Yoga Meditation Reiki Pranic healing Art therapy Music therapy Breathwork Somatic work Hypnotherapy Mindfulness Conscious movement Sound healing Creative retreats Women’s circles Men’s inner work Conscious leadership Alternative and preventive healing practices Contemplative education Inner work and self-awareness We are especially interested in teachers whose work is sincere, grounded, ethical, and non-sectarian. You may come from India, Europe, or anywhere in the world. Because Christina is German, we are especially open to welcoming teachers and groups from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and other German-speaking communities who feel drawn to India, the Himalayas, yoga, healing, silence, and spiritual inquiry.

What Kind of Retreats Can Be Held Here

WhiteLight is ideal for small and intimate residential retreats. You may hold: Weekend retreats Silent retreats Yoga immersions Meditation retreats Healing workshops Teacher trainings Art or music therapy retreats Creative residencies Embodiment programs Conscious leadership retreats Deep rest and renewal retreats Small group journeys for your existing students The space is especially suited for retreats where participants need time to slow down, disconnect, reflect, and be close to nature. It is not suited for loud events, high-social gatherings, parties, entertainment-based programs, or large commercial retreats.

Current Capacity

At present, WhiteLight can comfortably host intimate retreats of around 10 to 15 people. This small scale is part of the strength of the space. It allows participants to feel personally held, and it allows the group energy to remain quiet, focused, and connected. Over time, we hope to grow carefully to around 30 participants, and eventually to around 50 beds, through eco-sensitive construction and simple earth-built accommodation. But growth at WhiteLight will always be guided by the same intention: To protect silence, intimacy, simplicity, and the healing quality of the land.

What WhiteLight Offers

WhiteLight offers a quiet and supportive retreat environment. Depending on the retreat, the space can include: Simple accommodation Nourishing meals Meditation spaces Yoga / movement spaces Open outdoor spaces Forest paths Quiet corners for reflection Basic support during the retreat A calm setting for group work Time and space for silence The exact arrangement can be discussed based on the nature of your retreat, group size, duration, and needs.

What Teachers Bring

As a teacher or facilitator, you bring the heart of the retreat. You bring your students, your practice, your structure, and your way of holding the group. WhiteLight provides the environment - the land, the stay, the meals, the quiet, and the container. Together, we create the conditions for meaningful work to unfold. We are not looking for transactional use of the space. We are looking for aligned collaboration. The right teacher will understand that WhiteLight is not just a venue. It is a living space with its own rhythm, silence, and spirit.

Collaboration Model

We are open to different ways of working together. Some teachers may bring their own group and use WhiteLight as a residential retreat space. Some may co-create retreats with us. Some may offer workshops for the WhiteLight community. Some may return regularly and become part of the larger ecosystem over time. We are flexible in structure, but careful in alignment. Before confirming any retreat, we would like to understand your work, your group, your intention, and the kind of experience you want to create.

For Teachers From India

WhiteLight warmly welcomes teachers, healers, therapists, artists, and facilitators from across India. This space has grown from Indian soil, Himalayan silence, simple living, and a deep respect for inner work. We would love to collaborate with Indian teachers who are carrying sincere work in yoga, meditation, healing, therapy, creativity, conscious living, spiritual inquiry, or personal transformation. For teachers from India, WhiteLight can be a quiet residential retreat space away from city noise, yet still accessible from Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, and nearby regions. You may come with your existing students, your sangha, your healing circle, your teacher training group, or a small community of people who are ready to slow down and go deeper. We are especially open to Indian teachers who value simplicity, silence, nature, ethical practice, and intimate group work. WhiteLight is not a luxury resort or a large commercial venue. It is a living retreat space where the land, the food, the forest, the rooms, and the silence all become part of the experience. Whether your work comes from traditional Indian wisdom, modern therapeutic practice, creative healing, body-based work, or your own lived experience, we invite you to begin a conversation with us. WhiteLight is here for teachers from India as much as it is for teachers from abroad.

For Teachers Coming From Europe

We warmly welcome teachers and groups from Europe, especially German-speaking countries. WhiteLight offers a rare setting for European teachers who wish to bring their students to India in a way that is quiet, grounded, safe, and deeply connected to nature. The space can be especially meaningful for groups exploring yoga, meditation, healing, art therapy, somatic work, silence, Ayurveda-inspired living, conscious travel, or inner transformation. We understand that international groups may need more planning around travel, food, safety, communication, transport, stay, and retreat structure. We are happy to work slowly and clearly with teachers to help shape the retreat in a way that feels comfortable for both the group and the space.

Travel and Location

WhiteLight is located near Solan, Himachal Pradesh, in the lower Himalayas. It is around two hours by road from Chandigarh International Airport and around thirty minutes from Solan town. For groups coming from India or abroad, Chandigarh is usually the easiest arrival point. From there, road transport can be arranged or guided. WhiteLight can be found on Google by searching: WhiteLight Solan Our Instagram handle is: @whitelight.solan Exact arrival details can be shared once a retreat is being planned.

Food and Stay

Food at WhiteLight is simple, nourishing, and prepared with care. Meals are part of the retreat experience. They are not meant to be elaborate or distracting, but grounding and supportive. Accommodation is simple, earthy, and close to nature. This is not luxury hotel living. It is comfortable retreat living - quiet, natural, and intentionally minimal. For international groups or specific retreat needs, dietary preferences and practical requirements can be discussed in advance.

The Right Fit

WhiteLight may be the right space for you if: You value silence and nature. You work with sincerity and depth. You prefer intimate groups over large crowds. You want to hold retreats in a simple, beautiful, earth-based setting. You respect the land and the quiet rhythm of the place. You are looking for collaboration, not just a venue. You want your participants to have space between sessions to rest, reflect, and integrate. WhiteLight may not be the right space if you are looking for a luxury resort, a large commercial venue, loud events, high-density programs, or a heavily serviced hotel experience.
