Testimonials
Over the years, many people have come to WhiteLight at different moments in their lives — during transitions, after burnout, in search of clarity, or simply to rest in nature.
Their words reflect what WhiteLight quietly offers: silence, simplicity, healing, and a feeling of coming home.

Every time I have felt burnt out, lost, or disconnected, all I have needed is to return to WhiteLight. This place feels like home to me.
Simply being there begins to heal the body and mind on many levels, quietly and effortlessly.
WhiteLight creates the rare space to pause, reflect, introspect, and truly listen within. I always feel I am coming home. Each visit leaves me softer, clearer, and renewed.

Almost twenty years ago, I became connected to WhiteLight Solan when I wrote a script and made a film about it. Since then, I have watched it grow from tents under open skies into a beautiful, sustainable space shaped by local artisans, where one feels held by the earth.
Over the years, I have experienced WhiteLight through art, workshops, friendships, meditation, long walks, waterfalls, hearty meals, and nights under more stars than the city allows.
Varun and Christina have created something genuinely rare — a place where the body exhaless naturally, and the mind finds stillness without effort. I always leave more myself than when I arrived.

White Light has quietly become a central part of my journey.
I first walked into the space in 2017, completely unaware of how deeply the experience would impact me. Over the years, White Light became a place I returned to whenever I needed to pause, reflect, or revisit important decisions.
There is something about the energy of the space that naturally centres you and helps you go within.
Every visit has helped me discover a new direction and reconnect with parts of myself I wanted to carry forward.

Our visit to WhiteLight was an unforgettable experience.
We stayed in beautifully decorated mud houses with all the essentials, surrounded by nature, forest views, and a cool April breeze.
Every part of the 27-acre property felt serene and beautiful. Coming from the busyness of Gurugram, WhiteLight gave us the space to pause, breathe, and reflect on life.
The leaves, trees, breeze, and silence brought a simple sense of happiness and peace. — N Prakash

Outer turmoil often pushes one inward, and when that journey begins, the space one is in becomes deeply important. WhiteLight offered that space with warmth, love, and quiet care. Being surrounded by raw nature, gentle breeze, trees, birds, sunlight, and rain created a feeling of oneness with everything. The physical comforts made meditation effortless. At times, there was only stillness — all questions seemed to disappear. With gratitude.

It was the end of October when we came to the soulful, eco-friendly retreat of WhiteLight, surrounded by untouched nature.
As night fell, we sat under the stars, gathered around a glowing bonfire that brought deep calm and stillness within.
At dawn, sunlight kissed the hilltops, hammocks swayed in the breeze, birds chirped, and fresh food nourished me completely.
This beautiful landscape did not just surround me. It slowed me down, grounded me in peace, and filled me with love for my own soul.

WhiteLight, Solan came to me at a quiet turning point in life — a time when the outer world of work, ambition, and responsibility was slowly giving way to a more inward journey.
I spent a week here alone, and the silence did what noise never could. It softened me.
The mountains, the stillness, the simple comforts, and the open space allowed deep contemplation and healing.
I left feeling lighter, more peaceful within, and better prepared to return to the world with clarity and compassion.
